Artist Statement

My focus is on single, ordinary subjects. I feel the need to give importance to these subjects, whether it is a plant, an animal, an object, or a situation. It is when we focus on them individually that these subjects became extraordinary. We live in a society oversaturated with images and information. It is my goal as an artist to step back and show the beauty of the simple things in this world.
